Exibizone Winter 2021

"This work is not only fun (at least the indifferent young girl is) but could also be seen as social commentary in a world of endless 9 to 5 workers in line to begin their day of drudgery and who are oblivious to the young girl who is truly enjoying herself. The hallucinogenic bubbles are intruding the viewers space while the remainder of the composition lives in two planes, the plane of the silhouetted people in the queue and the girl on the wall. I could imagine that if Norman Rockwell lived 3 generations later he might have done a work like this. He took his jabs at social commentary as well and influenced people more than any politician ever could." ~ Allen Ruttenberg
